Sh. Mohan Lal Mittal was born on 5^th April 1930 at Palwal into a renowned business family of Palwal. At edge of sixteen he joined RSS and since then he has been a staunch adherent of the tenets of the SANGH. He is a graduate from. and who went on to join his family business which flourished with his hared work and business acumen. 

He is blessed with five son and one daughter all of whom are  highly qualified and doing well in his life as doctor ,businessman ,and charted accountants .charge with burning desire to do same thing for the upliftment of the society. it took up social causes early in life. at the edge of 22 he attached himself with the field of education when in 1962 Saraswati Shisu Mandir came existence ,he was not only among the building and lent it every kind of support. he was particularly drawn towards the emancipation of woman and went from door to door to motive the traditional dogmatic families of Palwal to send there daughter to school so as to educate and empower them . Adult education is another cause that he espoused.

 He is attached with Vidya Bharti which is affiliated with Hindu Shiksha Samiti. At the time of emergency in 1975, he was sent to Gurgaon Jail for three month but that did not deter his sprits and he continued his efferts with a missionary zeal.He has been General Secretary of the School Since 1977. his motto in life is not even a single person should remain illiterate uptill particular leval.   

His most valuable contribution to socity is tireless efforts to society to help bring into existence Saraswati Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Palwal, a girls college , which could provide higher education  to girls .he traveled fer  & wide along with Sh. Lakhan pal Mangla Advocate to arrange funds for the constriction of the college and devoted his time and energy even at the cost of his business and ease.

His position for social work shines through his actions and demeanor even today when he is in his late 70 years as he walk up and down two flights of stairs to inspect the constrection of a new hall or a clas room of Saraswati Mahila Mahavidyalay Palwal. He is a source of inspiration for the whole Saraswati family.
