Born in 1912 in a simple and cultured family ,Late.Sh. Mool Chand Mangla –Ex M.L.A. got his primary education at Palwal and passed his matriculation in first division. He owns a medical store affiliated to Board of Ayurvedic Unavi medicine. He could have led a peaceful and luxurious life of a businessman but he chose a different path , he dared to dream ,he took the road less traveled by traveled .

In 1940 he joined Rashtriy Swayam Seva Sangh hen it was still in its infancy in Palwal and after that he put everything he had in the holden fire of the freedom struggle of India.

He was sent t  o jail and tortured there but it was impossible to change he path of a determined and dedicated person like Sh. Mool Chand Mangla.He did not stop there and went ahead to put up the camps for the refugees from Punjab after India got its independence In 1952, he entered the political arena and became the municipal councilor after that, he was given the coveted post of the municipal Vice-Chairman for two years.

In 1966, he was again sent to as he participated in the Satyagraha against the partition of Punjab. He was sent to Gurgaon jail in 1975 during emergency. But then his desire to work for the people of Palwal was fulfilled when he won the election in 1977 as a candidate from Janata Party and Became the M.L.A. from Palwal constituency.

He has been working for the welfare of the people of palwal as an active member of social institutions. Taking his work to a different level ,he become a co founder of Saraswati  Shisu Mandir, Saraswati Higher Secondary School and pioneered girl education in the area Saraswati Mahila Mahavidyalaya.
