Career Guidance and Placement Cell of the college works effectively and efficiently for providing guidance and direction to students regarding various career prospects and opportunities accordingly to their need,choice and interest.The cell organises various workshops,seminars,lectures of expertees of different fields from time to time to inform students about the importance of soft skills,management skills,personality development,scope of higher education for girls,various competitive exams and its scope,scholarship programmes,add-on-courses etc.Our students actively participate in placement drives organized at various colleges and institutions.

The members of the cell resolve all queries of students related to career and placement and they are further guided for their career enhancement.

Career Guidance and Placement Cell of the college provide ample information related to various career options, job opportunities, scholarship programmes according to the need, choice and interest of students. Seminars, workshops and lectures of expertees of different fields are conducted in the college regularly. On Sept 6 2019 , a seminar on “Aviation and its scope in India and Abroad” was organized for students. Ms Heena Nagpal(Director, CEO Institute Of Skill Development, Freon LLP, Fbd)was the Resource Person who informed students about various job opportunities related to aviation industry i.e. Airhostess, Hospitality Management, Foreign languages, crew members, cabin crew etc.Through PPT students were informed about how to groom themselves for their career.The team members of Freon conducted campus interview of the interested students and encourage them to make career in this field.

Dr. Sonia Bhardwaj (Convenor of the cell),Ms Shubhra, Ms Shweta Chhabra, Dr. Sangeeta Sharma provide guidance and direction to students regularly related to their career queries. We try our best so that they may get success in their professional life.

Career Guidance and Placement Cell of the college has been providing guidance and direction to students under the supervision of Dr. Sonia Bhardwaj and team members- Dr. Sangeeta Sharma,Ms. Babita Bansal,Ms.Shweta Chhabra and Ms. Ruby Gupta. The cell provides ample information for building- up career to the students. Interactive sessions, seminars, lectures, workshops are arranged regularly to expose the students for wider fields of knowledge about career.

A career guidance seminar on Career Prospects was organized for B.Com and B.Sc. final year students on 04th Aug. 2018. Ms Nishtha Kakkar and Mr. Abhishek Adhikari (Directors of Triumphant Institute of Management Education, Pvt. Ltd, Palwal) were eminent speakers of the program. The keynote speaker Ms. Nishtha Kakkar informed students about various career prospects and competitive exams CAT, MAT, JEE MAINS, JEE Advanced, GMAT, IELTS, TOEFL, GATE, Bank PO etc. in detail.

An interactive session for science stream students was organized on 16th Aug 2018 by Crystal Zone Academy, Faridabad. Ms. Nobel Tomar, eminent speaker, informed students about the scope of Chemistry after graduation and post graduation. Ms. Neetu Singh (Eminent Speaker) addressed students to be alert and combine hard work with smart work for better results in their respective field.

A career guidance Workshop was organized by Computer Science Department Campus2 on 29-08-2018 by KVCH,WDP Oracle Partner.Mr Manish (General Manager,KVCH)and Ms Ginni Khurana(Android Software Developer)were the eminent speakers of the program.Ms Ginni khurana explained students about the techniques used in Anroid programming used in mobile application and at last Mr Manish informed students about various career opportunities in Computer Science.

An industrial visit on 28th Sept 2018 of BCA and B.VOC final year students of Saraswati Educational Institution,Palwal held at KVCH,Noida under the supervision of Ms Shashi Tanwar and Ms Anu Choudhry of Computer Science Department. On that day Ms Shumalia Anees, head operator of the company, gave students brief introduction about latest technologies like machine learning, IOT, Python etc. After that , Mr. Inderjeet guided students about the career opportunities in IT field.

On 13 Oct. 2018, Paramount coaching center Pvt. Ltd, Palwal organized a motivational and educational seminar on Awareness about competitive exam in Govt. Sector in college premises. Mr. Jaideep Singh (keynote Speaker) informed students about govt. jobs in various fields and also about the upcoming vacancies. Mr. Hardeep Maan encouraged students to utilize technology in proper direction for enhancing knowledge and being informative. The whole session was interactive as students of all streams had shown keen interest in the seminar and cleared many queries related to their career.

Career Guidance and Placement Cell in collaboration of Commerce Students Welfare Association (CSWA) of the college organized a workshop on How to Market Yourself on 29th Jan 2019. Mr. Sachin Juneja (Marketing Director, Amity University, Gurugram) was the eminent speaker who urged students to built-up their own brand and work as an entrepreneur. He also advised them to join internship along with studies for better career prospects. He explained in detail about Do and Don't of interview to students along with career planning techniques.

On 12th Feb. 2019 an educational seminar was organized for the students of M.Sc. (Physics) and B.Sc. (N.M.) Final year. Mr. Manish Sharma (Management Head, PSI-SRGN, Institute of Advance Sciences, Faridabad) and team addressed and informed students about CSIR, NET, TIFR, JEST, BRAC, DRDO, IIT-JAM, NGPE and also about the procedure to qualify these competitive exams . They were also informed about PSU, Junior Scientist in ARIES and PGBAA course in Actuarial Science.

A counseling session under Skill Saath Scheme of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) was conducted on 6th April 2019 in college premises to aware students about skill development programs. Ms. Bhanu Priya (Counsellor Head of D.P. Education Society,Palwal) and team members, Ms. Monika, Ms. Kavita were the eminent speakers. They informed students of U.G. as well as P.G. about various short term certified courses running under this scheme. These courses are highly beneficial for career prospects. After completing these courses, students could start their own business with loan facilities up to 50,000 1, 50,000/- under govt. scheme.

The cell provides information about various job fairs conducted in surrounding areas. We, regularly, organize mentoring session for all the students of the college. It's a matter of great pride that our student Neha Baisla,B.Sc.lll(C.S) got selected in WIPRO Ltd. on 22 Aug.2018 in 'Vidyapith Meerut'. Job Fair was organized on 22 Feb.2019 at B.R.Ambedkar College,Palwal. The following students are selected and shortlisted in reputed companies:

Career and Placement cell OF SMM,Palval has been working effeciently, effectively under the supervision of Ms. Tajender Pal Kaur Associate Professor in English and Dr. Sonia Bhardwaj Assistant professor in English.

Career and Placement cell organised a lecture on career guidance on 18.09.2017. The resource person was Ms. Manju Rana from Daya Coaching Center Palwal. She informed students about career options & how to achieve their goal in life. They were told to be focused and to work relentless by till the goal achieved.

On 05.0ct.2017, a lecture was organized by T.I.M.E. Institution. Mr. Akhilesh Khandelwan and Mr. Abishek informed students how to prepare for competitive exams. Their inspirational lectures motivated the student to identify and work towards fulfillment of their goals.A Talent Search Exams was conducted by T.I.M.E. Institution on 14th March 2018 to inform students about the pattern of competitive exams.

A written test was conducted. 150 students participated in it. The T.I.M.E. institute gave 50% concession to 50 students for coaching of SSC. Banking, HSSC and many other exams. Mr. Abhishek Director and Mr. Praveen Mkt. Manager conducted the event in our college.

Students of our college were intimated about various career options according to their choices and interests on 16.03.2018. Students were informed about free coaching at Bal Bhawan Palwal for Banking, SSC, HSSC, Railway, Haryana Police, Delhi Police, Navy, Air Force and other competitive exams. The coaching will start on 1st April 2018 timings from 2:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. from Monday to Friday.

65 students from our college attended the campus placement "Job Galore - 2018" in Rawal Institution on 16 Feb, 2018. Nine students were selected during this drive in the well established and reputed companies.

We organize mentoring sessions for all the students of the college, once every week. Among other things students are advised to take up job oriented courses for better career prospects. Career and Placement cell of our college organizes seminars and lecture from time to time.
